2. Most of the predictions made by people 50-100 years ago was wish lists that contained subtle warnings such as in my first source. Asimov 50 years ago predicted gadgets such as a Keurig, and toasters, along with cars that can drive themselves. He also talked about fake meats, jets, solar power, self checkouts, and 3D viewings. Within this list he included subtle warnings, such as more machines will have jobs as opposed to humans, and will be better at the jobs. These jobs include factory workers, delivery men and store clerks.
3. Predictions that seem to have come true is gadgets for the kitchen, people moving away from nature to benefit themselves, machines will have taken over some jobs, there will be fake meat, 3D viewing, and solar power. Some things people got wrong was no more world hunger, robots will be common, education by wiring in the brain, no electric cords, jets being a common thing, and work will be a glorified word.
4.People seem to be wanting more things to have, not greater things for the world. Many sources talked about cars and robots, while few, such as the smithsonian, discussed no more world hunger.
5. I believe in the future, there will be time travel, but very very far in the future. I believe the world's population won't grow as fast as it has in the past years, because the Earth may become over populated. I think many things will be invented in the near future, but in the far future I think people will start caring less about inventions, being rich, having a great job, etc.
